Nope. I carried his car seat with him in it and my wife pushed a little cart they let us borrow with all of our bags and stuff on it.

Well my wife was discharged a week ago so we have been staying there but not as patients. And an employee did walk out to the car with us.

I remember the orderly insisted on helping install the car seat. My wife had to let him. We strapped my daughter in under camera, drove 50 feet to a parking space, and then installed the thing properly for the ride home :).
